I’ve just released a new book, CHINAEVERBRIGHT, through Blurb for the the Photography Book Now contest. The book comprises a selection of work from my first year in China documenting the lives of ordinary Chinese citizens as the country opens itself to the world. There is also a small selection from the body of work on my portfolio site.

Currently in Montana. I’ll be giving a short slideshow and talk at the Great Falls Public Library in Great Falls, Montana, on Thursday, August 7th, at noon. Address: 301 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401; phone: (406) 453-0349. I’ll be showing a few of my stories from the past year in China as well as a generalized look at daily life in the country from China Everbright. Hope to see you there!

I’ve arrived in Montana for a spell, though the picture above is from China. Currently doing some maintenance and retooling on this website. The RSS feed will likely change, but I’ll post a note on the old feed about the change.

I’ve just arrived in Seattle from Shanghai. Will be in the US for the next month and a half or so. Planning work in Montana, continuing with projects on Hutterites, meth use and recovery, and “Not Cloudy All Day,” my continuing project on life in Montana.
