Thanks again to Rachel at the Globe and Mail for picking up a few of my images of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for a weekend double-truck in Canada's The Globe and Mail newspaper in the April 2, 2016, edition. I just love the way this spread came out. The pictures accompany a phenomenal article by Cathal Kelly: Through the looking glass: the many faces of Trump and his fans.

The paper has printed some of my images for previous pieces on Hillary Clinton and Trump.

Thanks again to Shaminder at Newsweek for picking up a couple pictures for the March 18, 2016, issue of the magazine. This time, it was a couple pictures of the MIT's Space Propulsion Laboratory's nanosatellites, originally shot for the Chronicle of Higher Education. It's always nice to find a new use for old pictures, especially in a big spread like above. The two pictures were also used online alongside the article, Cubesats Will Take Over the Skies, Thanks to Electric Propulsion.

And here's something funny about the big picture accompanying the online article. I needed something common and small to show the scale of the device and there wasn't anything in the lab that really seemed right. So I dug into my pocket and found a quarter and my house key, figuring those would both give a recognizable sense of scale. That's how my house key ended up being in a picture published by Newsweek.

Newsweek also recently published a handful of pictures from my project on the New Hampshire presidential primary.

The Globe and Mail have again printed a big spread of my political pictures in their weekend edition. Last time, it was focused on Trump's campaign, and this time it's all Hillary Clinton. The pictures appeared in the March 5, 2016, edition of the paper. Thanks again to Rachel at the Globe and Mail for such a great spread!

Thanks to Shaminder and the rest of the crew at Newsweek for picking up a handful of my pictures from the New Hampshire primary of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. The magazine published images across 8 pages in the Feb. 26, 2016, to accompany an article comparing the two candidates' careers in the Senate. You can find the article online: Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are more alike than you think.

Also cool to share the article online with John Tully, who had a picture on the Table of Contents of the issue, as well.

An odd side-note: I've taken so many pictures for this project, I had no memory of the lead image seen above of Clinton until Shaminder requested the image.

A big thank you to Paul at Time magazine for his continued support for my work throughout the New Hampshire primary. He hired me for the final two days of the primary to follow around last-place Republican nominee Jim Gilmore, the former governor of Virginia. It was a quirky but fascinating story, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

A big thank you to Stephanie and the rest of the team at The New Republic for publishing a portfolio of my project on the New Hampshire primary in the March issue of the magazine. You can see the 6 pages above.

The magazine also did a great web piece with quite a few more pictures and a great layout.

On Feb. 2, I spent a day for Bloomberg Businessweek covering the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Chris Christie, as they traveled around New Hampshire. The images from the assignment appeared in the Feb. 8-14, 2016, issue. Businessweek used five images from the day; four on a spread on pages 24 and 25 (top), and one on the People/Companies Index on page 4 (left). The pictures accompanied an infographic on campaign advertising spending and a short article about Christie's efforts to save Atlantic City, though my images don't appear online.

A little behind the scenes info: I had just a quick stop at the Christie event that day and took a total of 30 pictures. I could have done that portion of the shoot on a single roll of film with room to spare!

Thanks to Jane for the great assignment! I'd been hoping to work with Businessweek on the campaign at some point during the NH primary, and I'm glad it finally came together.

A huge thank you to Mike at Esquire for his support over the past few months covering the New Hampshire presidential primary and the dream layout above over 8 pages in the magazine's February issue. I couldn't have hoped for a better treatment of my project, This is the worst party I've ever been to. This is the biggest treatment in a magazine that I've had for a project in my career.

There are a couple of other images sprinkled throughout the issue, one of Cruz on the table of contents and one of Trump in the cover story.

Canada's largest-circulation newspaper, The Globe and Mail, published a handful of my images of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in a beautiful doubletruck over the weekend of December 12, 2015. The images can also be seen in the online version of the article, which includes one more of my pictures and a great illustration. The article is a great read, by the way: "Trump’s true believers: How he’s gone farther than Europe’s far right, and who got him there."

The pictures, by the way, are part of my ongoing project on the New Hampshire presidential primary, This is the worst party I've ever been to.
